Backstage Intro - Meet Tanya

MihailY

Our Community Stars can be featured on Backstage Intros. Head here to find more about the Spotify Star Program.

Hey folks, this month we'd like to introduce to you our newest member of the Stars Program - @TanyaS🎊

Welcome to the team Tanya! Tell us a bit about yourself.

Hi, I am Tanya, a research analyst living in Noida, India. I am passionate about my work in deal intelligence, helping clients make informed decisions in the fast-paced world of mergers and acquisitions.

When I am not crunching numbers and analyzing market trends, you can find me with my nose in a book or cheering on my favorite tennis and Formula 1 athletes. I am also a self-proclaimed foodie, always on the hunt for the best burger joints in town.

What a cool job!

When did you start using Spotify and what's your favorite thing about the service?

I started using Spotify in 2020, I love the UX, and the app is so sleek and intuitive.

What type of music are you into? What’s your “dance like nobody’s watching” song? 🎶

I am into Indie and Punjabi music. It has to be "Brown Munde" by AP Dhillon.

Nice one! What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? 🏖

Reading and long runs in the evening.

What's one thing that can instantly make your day better?

It has to be ice cream.

What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?

Reading and cooking, COVID just accelerated my interest in cooking.

What’s something you’re really bad at?

Inflating a balloon, truly sucks.

Indeed, it truly blows 🎈 (pardon the dad joke 😁)

What’s a movie you could watch every day?

Dil Chahta Hai.

Nice, here's a trailer for anyone interested. 🎥

If money were no object, what’s the first thing you would buy?

A private jet.

If you could jump into a pool of anything, what would it be full of?

Stuffed toys.

Safe and fun at the same time  😁

Speaking of safety, what’s the silliest way you’ve ever gotten an injury?

I was trying to teach someone how to attach pins to the stapler, but during the demo, I accidentally punched my thumb.

Ouch... Well, at least they learned the Dos and Don'ts of using a stapler! ⚠️

Tanya, it was a pleasure to get to know you better. Once again, welcome on board! 🎆

Thanks for sticking around folks! Stay tuned for the next Backstage Intro!

Meanwhile, if you're a Star and would like an introduction, feel free to reach out to one of the Mods to let us know. We'd love to find out a bit more about you 🙂
