So, I've got the problem that I can't get my spotify to show me any music videos at all. I'm in a Family Plan (GER) together with my brother and my parents, and all of them can access the music video-feature on their phone (of selected songs which feature it obv.)
First I thought it might be smth. wrong with my Galaxy A52 (even though it has the latest app version and Android 14). So, i tried to access the videos with my account on the following devices: Lenovo Tab M9 (Android 13), Samsung SmartTV (tizenOS), Desktop PC/Laptop (Win10 & Win11, via App and Web-Player) - nothing, I am just not able to watch them, it doesn't even show the little "play" symbol to switch from audio-only to video.
I've disabled everything remotely related to data-saving, double-checked and compared settings between working devices and mine... I don't get it?! I just can assume, it has to be related to my account - which I also don't get; I'm a premium user, other than me all plan members can access the videos, and afaik the feature isn't beta anymore, so 'everyone' should have it?
Am I a second-class citizen to spotify?

Hey, @janm2000
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!
Spotify is still rolling out the music video feature gradually in the selected countries. You are in a country that is expected to receive it, so in this case, my recommendation is that you keep your app up-to-date and wait until the complete rollout. I know you're excited about the possibility of having it, but at this point, there is nothing else you can do, but wait.
I hope this makes everything clearer to you and that you have access to this incredible feature as soon as possible.
Stay awesome! 🎶
If you have further questions or if you need anything else, let me know! I'd love to help!

Damn, disappointing 😞 I've read the text from the FAQ and it didn't indicate to me that it's still a beta or in a staggered roll-out.
Well, guess I have to wait...
I'm pretty sure though, I had access to the video-feed of certain podcasts in the past already - is that feature related or independent in the sense that it's solely the creators decision whether or not a video is available?
Hi again, @janm2000
Both of them, to be honest. You need to have the feature released to your account, but not all shows will feature videos. Some creators may not bring them to Spotify or don't even create podcasts with video, for example. Anyway, if you want to double-check what is the case, you can share with me the link to a specific episode, and I can try it here on my side if the video is available on it.
Last, but not least, keep in mind that a Music Video is a different feature than a podcast episode with a video, alright?
Keep me posted! 🎶
When specifically searching for 'video podcasts' I am able to watch the visual feed (in case the creator bothered to upload is obv.), so that's fine. It appears that the music videos are indeed an unrelated, separate feature which has to be unlocked to my account - hopefully sooner rather than later 🙂 Still, bit disappointing for someone with a premium account for the last 10 years and several hundreds of hours per year, to be left hanging like that 😞

My Question or Issue
I can sew which songs have videos, as they have Video on the song name. But when I click to play the song, the video never shows up. There is no 'switch to video' option. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance

My Question or Issue
Hi,
I have a premium duo plan with my wife, latest version of iOS and app up to date. I don’t get an option to view music videos on my iOS app.
My wife’s show every time and we also have an Amazon fire TV which plays the videos every time. For some reason my app will not allow to play videos. I’ve check the data saver options on the app and all seems to be correct.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated! it’s driving me insane.
Succinct as possible...

I have premium duo account.
Partner has a premium account.
Music videos play using her account but not mine from a playlist.
I can search for a music video but cannot leave a playlist playing and music videos to autoplay.
Would just like something for background at a party.
Not the end of the world as still can do this using her account, but just a little frustrating!

My Question or Issue
It just doesn’t work, I have been searching for solutions and it’s always like “wait for it to appear” do I wait until an update, and if so when is the next one? Am I the only one who see the video option on the albums but then not the “switch to video” button?
I have a family account with my wife. She has the video playback working but I don’t
can’t be regional because we live together and both use iPhones updated to latest softwares
i see the video under the track in listings but no switch to video button.
wonder what the fix is.
funny thing she couldn’t care less about the feature but I want to use it
Music videos aren't showing even though it's available in israel and I have audio only stream turned off and it's fully updated so I dont know what to do

this is unacceptable and annoying as **bleep** i need music videos just like every other person wake up **bleep** i pay for what?
Honestly this must be an account bug. Very strange how my whole family has it yet I don't. Also funny how in their daily's they have podcasts and music combined and for me podcasts have been missing for months
