"Couldn't load the lyrics for this song" error

As of version 8.8.20.544 and the version prior to that has caused the lyrics from my personal playlist in my device 'Samsung-SMJ250F' to disappear, at first I thought it was brcause the songs were old but way older songs still had lyrics
The playlist is a private playlist featuring all songs of 'DragonForce'
and after the update none of the songs had lyrics.

i would love to have access to Spotify Karaoke function and see the mic when I press the lyrics button. I saw that this grape has been rolled or but not to all users. Can I make a formal request as a Spotify premium user who uses Spotify daily for many hours per day to have access to this feature?

So, I have a Spotify premium, but the lyrics option doesn't work on my Spotify web.

Whenever I play music on spotify and try to look at the lyrics it ALWAYS says "Couldn't load lyrics for this song" and I don't know how to fix it.

Go to the Play Store and press Spotify,  then press "update play" then you will have an organized Spotify with lyrics.

Hi Spotify members, as you may know I am on Chromebook and I was wondering why I can't see the lyrics on the mic option, I have a graduation song coming up near December and I want to practice it by listening while the lyrics are there I'm only 11 graduating year 6 this year and I wanna know the lyrics because it would be embarrassing me being up there without knowing the lyrics and I am partially blind so it's hard to see the screen and it troubles me so I can't really see the lyrics.

Like a month ago or a bit more they were normally available i could watch the lyrics on my pc just like on my phone but now for some reason i cant see the lyrics on any song on my pc, but still can on my phone. Solution?

I have a pretty big problem for me. Spotify can't load lyrics to most of the songs since the begining of this year. In the previous year, I didn't have this problem. Especially for blur, gorillaz, oasis songs. Previously "the used" didn't have the lyrics, but after 2-3 months it apperread, though most lyrics is not correct

Hi Spotify, I've been using Spotify premium for about 3 months and I can't see my lyrics anymore and about a month ago I could still see them and it makes me kind of sad because songs are in my opinion better when you can see the lyrics and I'd appreciate if maybe you guys or girls could fix it.

Seems like soooooo many songs are missing lyrics now. Literally will have lyrics one day and the next they're gone. Every single "answer" I found on this says it's because of Musixmatch...... I really doubt it cause I checked all affected songs and their full and correct lyrics are there. Why isn't it easier to report incorrect or missing lyrics??

I've discovered Spotify's neat trick. Songs that no longer seem relevant have their lyrics removed. As more and more songs appear, Spotify can't have synced lyrics for all the songs they harbor. The more songs they have lyrics to, the more maintenance the app requires. In addition, the app size increases, this is a problem because, a music app must be light, it shouldn't take more than everyday apps. The thought is too normalized. However, on the contrary of this idea, Spotify should take up a lot of space. Although I understand why this app has taken this approach, I would rather not find unpopular songs with lyrics to then see them disappear. Even if Spotify can't please all it's users due to many people like unpopular songs, a new solve would be appreciated.
