[Bug][Desktop][Linux][1.0.19] Text input fields stop working

4. At some point I can no longer type anything into the search bar. The characters don't appear at all. I can still paste into it.
When I log out, I get the same issue with the log in field. I had this issue on and off again, most of the time a restart of spotify did the trick, but not any more. A reboot might have helped for a short while.

The steps here did not help.
