Spotify doesnt login

I have my account spotify if i login togin to the website it works fine but if i go to the spotify player program doesn't login, 😞

I use ubuntu

I am having the same issue, unable to login to the Spotify app in Ubuntu 15.4.  I can use the mobile app on my iPod Touch and I can login to the website from my laptop, but the app will not let me login.  I am using a US based ISP from overseas, but since the mobile app works, I don't believe that is contributing to the issue.

Any suggestions for a fix are welcome.
