[Desktop][Mac] Spotify Connect not detecting Chromecasts or Google Homes on same Wifi Network

Recently Spotify Connect stopped detecting the Chromecasts and Google Homes on that are on the same Wifi Network. I am able to cast from my Android device and the Web Player but the Desktop App is unable to detect the devices unless I first cast to them from one of the former options then the Desktop App is able to see it.

I've reset my router, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, disconnected the devices, switched all the devices to a new network and still nothing has worked. This problem has been going on for about a month now and I've finally run out of troubleshooting options. Has anyone else experienced this, I would be eternally grateful for any assitance in this matter.
