Update Restart logs out of Last.fm

Hey all,

I've realized everytime Spotify does an update, it keep all the same settings, except it logs you out of Last.fm. This is frustrating, because I often forget to sign back in when there is an update, since you just restart to install and it only takes a few seconds. Then I realize 5 days later it didn't scrobble anything i listened to since the update. Is there any way to fix this?

Me too! Me too!

Every once in a while I go a few weeks without checking my charts at last.fm, and it happens again! Like everyone else I'm logged onto spotify on 3+ devices so I just can't trust which devices have lost their scrobbling.

PS My main machine at work is a mac, and you marked yours as mac, so maybe that's the commonality.

No, I am on PC and this happens with me too. Literally every time Spotify updates it forgets my last.fm details and I have to re-enter them.

Which would be OK if I could disable automatic client updates.....

It does this to me every time I exit out of the app now, missed out on a whole day of scrobbles. Starting to piss me off honestly.
