Don’t cut off end of songs with DJ

Really like the new DJ feature, but the end of songs get cut off. Please stop cutting songs short or fading them out - sometimes that’s the beat part!

Definitely! Had this happen to me a few times this morning on a drive, and it really can change the journey a piece of music can take someone on. The missing context of the cut off intro or outro changes the music experience.

this is insane!! You need to add a setting that at allows to turn fading off so we can hear the entire song.

For those still struggling with this, try disabing "auto mixer" setting. Now Dj doesn't cut off endings

n-7d_1lx46mvs is right. If you turn off "AutoMix" in your settings, it will keep the DJ from cutting off the beginning and end of songs. The Spotify forum needs a way to mark a comment as the answer, otherwise I'm afraid a bunch of people will fail to see the second page where the solution to the problem is.

The Dj cuts to much off both sides of songs! I don't have the blend turned on for normal playing, this shouldn't do it either when it's disabled.

My Question or Issue

I'm enjoying using the DJ (Beta) on my PC, especially Wrapped 2024, but has anyone else noticed that when switching songs, they don't start at the beginning?  I just had one song start playing at 0:51 seconds.  It's annoying!  This doesn't happen when I'm playing songs from my Liked Songs library, or other playlists, like Daily Mix 05.  Is there a setting somewhere that I can change that will make the DJ start the songs at 0:00?  If not, how does one make this suggestion to the developers?

I'm glad there's there's at least somewhat of an answer on how to stop this. But the fact that this is /still/ an issue is beginning to really **bleep** me off. Why the h*ll is this an automatic setting? Who the h*ll decided that this was a good idea to do bc I cannot see a single benefit to it. It won't even let you go back to listen to the end no matter how much you try. Also sick of it replaying the same songs over and over as well as giving mixes that are awful. Who tf wants "roller skating music" as a category??
