Does your screen have to be a certain size to display the friend feed?

I've just installed spotify (being the latest version), but the friend feed isn't showing. I've made sure that I've enabled the friend feed in settings. Also, I've logged out twice, but nothing has changed. The display on my laptop is a bit small, maybe 12 inchs if I where to say. I think maybe my display having to be too small is causing the problem?

I just tested this with two ways:

1. Resized to half my monitor (my monitor is 24 inches).
2. Used a 12 inches laptop.

In both cases I was unable to see my friend's feed, therefore I am afraid that yes, the size of the screen is too small.
