Help with Spotify desktop app (PC)?

I've returned to Spotify after a few years and I am struggling to find what I would consider basic features, maybe someone can help me?

I often don't know what I want to listen to, so I click on Browse and play one of the Spotify lists in there. How can I 'thumbs down' or dislike a track? I just don't want to hear that artist or track again and I thought Spotify had this feature?

Also my 'Discover' page is full of artists or albums that I don't like just because once or twice I listened to a track from there. I can't see any option to say that I don't like this artist, or even start over?

That option only exists on the Radio feature.

There is currently no way to manually remove content from the Discover page. There is an idea in the Ideas section of the forum to implement a removal feature: http://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Add-an-Option-to-quot-Discover-quot-that-Allows-You-to-Remove/idi-p/457222
