Show me how to disable upload / p2p

Hi, I pay Spotify $10/month (premium)

Please tell me how to disable upload / p2p stuff that makes me lag every 5 minutes.  Can't enjoy playing games while listening to music.

I have AT&T U-verse with a crappy 1.5mpbs upload.  I also heard that AT&T throttles you if you use p2p.

So I need to disable this feature of spotify, I only want to stream music, not upload anything or use p2p networks.

I have tried offline mode, and it doesn't work.

If this is not possible, I will cancel my subscription.

Thanks

Offline mode should work (File > Offline Mode), unfortunately there is no way to simply stop the p2p in the desktop client online.

The web player doesn't use p2p if that works better for you?

I would rather not use the web player as the browser hogs resources.

So if offline mode doesn't stop p2p, then it's not really offline mode?

Mobile apps doesn't use P2P. And these music systems with Connect.

Offline mode should kill all connections, are you still seeing network activity coming from Spotify?

Yes.

Well I found how how to block the p2p network.  That is sad that I have to resort to using a firewall and port blocking, as a premium subscriber.  But that's business for you I guess

I'll post the solution on my blog, just google my name + blog

I blocked ANY upload with NetLimiter 3 PRO ( http://www.netlimiter.com/  - here is free trial )

But my question is: how DISABLE cache folder, this crap eat my laptop HDD! :@

Sorry, my english is bad.

You can reduce the cache size from spotify/preferences.
