My Question or Issue
When I try to play a song I get the following error message "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it"
I have tried all the fixes I have seen:
Reinstalling app.
Using version from Microsoft store.
Disabled hardware acceleration.
Disabled crossfading.
Changed speaker options.
Deleted local files.
I've had this issue before and it was fixed by using the version from the Microsoft store but this isn't working now.
Spotify works on my phone and my laptop, web player also works only the desktop app doesn't work.

My Question or Issue
My Spotify hasn't worked on my computer for a week now.
I get an error message which reads: "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have this file on your computer, you can import it to Spotify."
I have deleted and re-installed the desktop app three times and I have followed through the instructions in all the FAQ guides, but the problem persists. I have deleted all the cache multiple times, reloaded the app and have made sure to delete all the files on my computer when re-installing. I have gone through my sound settings for apps on my PC, nothing worked.
I managed to fix this by toggling on Local Files from the Setting and restarting the computer.

My Question or Issue
While listening to music, usually around halfway through the song, the error "Spotify can't play this right now" will show as it skips to the next song.
I'm getting this error as well in the desktop client (Windows), but Spotify wont play anything. I don't even get the first minute. I can play (the entire song and no issues moving to the next song) via the web browser (Brave and Chrome) and via my Android phone. I've tried the troubleshooting steps and just re-downloaded the current desktop app and am currently by-passing the firewall.
doesnt work anything for me
Updated plan to premium. Right after that, the problem started;
Whatever I try to play (my old playlist, an artist radio, an album, or whatever) first songs are skipped with the error "spotify can't play this right now". Usually song #6 starts to play, but after 15 sec or so, spotify goes silent, though it seems playback continues. This through web player.

My Question or Issue
I have tried all the options seen in previous posts. It is a brand new PC updated to the latest patches. The problem occurs with the native sound card as well as with several USB audio card.
it can be fixed by re installing your audio output drivers.
it can be done by going to device manager - expanding audio inputs and outputs - then delete whatever your output device is - then replug your device (if it is integrated speakers just wait they will be downloaded automatically) and then your music should play just fine
Same issue. Can play tracks using the web browser, but the app shows Cannot Play Right Now message. Have cleared cache, reinstalled the app, rebooted several times, nothing seems to work for it.
I'm also having the same issue on windows 10 desktop, but was working on my laptop
I have tried everything I could find online and nothing worked, my problem began on the 29th and has been constant since then
Adjusting the audio settings on my speaker worked for me.
