Spotify skipping two instead of one song (media key used)

Hi, 

Ive got a logitech G910 Orion Spark for keyboard. It has several media keys like stop skip pause etc. .. 

The worked just fine until today when I press skip, it skips 2 instead of one song. When i do it "manually" with my mouse, it works just fine. I haven't changed anything in my enviroment. I tried to update both spotify and my keyboard drivers, but nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions? It really sucks because I now have to tab out to skip a song 😞

Wow okay I found the issue. For some reason it works by restarting the InputDeviceService (Windows+r  -> "services.msc") I dont know if this is the correct name of the service. In german its called "Eingabegerätedienst". Just stop and start it or simply press restart.

Edit: Okay issue is back on. As soon as I click another app it starts skipping two songs again :(... Any ideas?

+1, have had this issue for months. K65 RGB

Restarting the service was also a temp fix for me too but the issue comes right back when another window is selected. What a shame.

Need help on this 😞 this really annoys me really. 

Edit: it works on iTunes though so I think its a matter with spotify
