New update, cannot make playlists available offline.

New update, cannot make playlists available offline.

I just updated my Spotify to the latest version on my iPod Touch 4G running iOS 6, and it made all my playlists that I had available offline, not available offline. and when I click Make available offline both on my iPod AND on the Spotify desktop application, it just wont do it. when I click it on my iPod, the Available Offline button instantly goes back to OFF when I touch it to turn it on. Before the update, I had some playlists synced, the ones I wanted synced and I had plenty of memory. But this is really frustrating. I really need a solution for this asap.

Hi. Can you try the steps in this post to see if it solves the issue.

Hi. Unfortunetly none of them things worked. 😕

I just spent two hours trying to download a playlist to my Ipad and set it to play offline. When I used the used the settings menu to set the  playlist to work offline, all the tracks would grey out. Nothing I did worked.

Eventually my son showed me how to do it. First, click on the playlist on the Ipad. Then, touch the current time in the middle of the top row, which displays 4 album covers, plus, in the middle row, the title of the playlist, plus 4 icons to the right of the title. Click on the third of these, which is a down pointing arrow. Toggle Download Playist so it goes green, which it will then action, taking a few seconds to do so. When the downloading is complete a message "Downloaded playlists can be listened to when offline" is then displayed. All the tracks now have the downward pointing green arrow. You can now play tracks without being online.
