[iOS][Connect] Logging/ signing up with Apple ID

A lot of complanys allow you to sign up or login using your Apple ID.

we would love it if you guys offered that function as well, that way I can have my Spotify account synced with my Apple ID.

My Question or Issue

Today I decided to give Spotify another try (coming from AM).

I have had an account from earlier days which I'd like to connect to my Apple ID and therefor have followed this instruction: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/Sign-in-with-Apple/ta-p/4916900

However when trying to log in using my Apple ID it says something like "This combination of email and password is wrong."  

Any advice?
