[All Platforms] Block / disallow suggestions for certain content

The last 8 times I've opened Spotify I've been greeted by a big waiting Bible podcast recommendation sat there. I get the hint Spotify, but stop. It was cool the first time. It was boring the second. And it is in fact so annoying by the 8th time that I have to write this post to ask for this feature to be implemented.

I hope it's been made clear: I don't want to listen to the bible, much less on Spotify, and there is no way within the app to ask it to stop recommending me this, honestly, outrageously offensive content. I would very much appreciate this feature, thanks in advance. I'm sure the bible people would appreciate such a feature as well!

Totally unacceptable not to have this option.

Only because one clicked on something a single time, it should not permanently stick to the home screen, which will appear automatically everytime the app is openened and will then be visible to everyone arround.

I love the Bible, and I want everyone else to love the Bible too. I don't want it to be shoved in people's faces, nor do I want anything else shoved in my face by Spotify. Please allow for this feature to be added. I am regularly recommended podcasts I have no interest in, and would like to block them completely from appearing. It's honestly getting annoying enough that I am considering deleting my account if it doesn't work.

I'm slowly growing insane from being spammed by podcasts that I let run by mistake. Now they drown out relevant podcasts for me. Please let me block **bleep**.

I'd like to be able to block certain specific content, ie sensitive or triggering topics that bring on symptoms of CPTSD or other Trauma related mental health issues. For example, I was listening to a podcast creator about witchcraft from the perspective of black women (awesome!), when without knowing, the app went on to play a parent specific episode from her podcast repertoire, that I was wholly unaware of.   I have severe trauma related to parents/childhood, so instantly went into a free fall of flash backs which triggered a panic attack (which I'm still trying to recover from).

I do everything possible to avoid such content topics, going so far as to block channels and episodes that specify in that content everywhere I have access to.  - I do everything possible to ensure I won't be surprised by this topic popping up out of nowhere.  I'd really appreciate it if there was a way to selectively block content related to trauma subjects in your app, I know many other people who would appreciate this too and, not just for the subjects listed above.

I agree wholeheartedly. I get recommended all types of chud Rogan/Tate BS podcasts and all I want to do is block them but they remain visually present in front of my pinned podcasts. super annoying. Today i actually spent the time to come here and comment because it STARTED PLAYING a podcast that i despise and have never listened to automatically after i finished one of my subscribed podcasts. utter nonsense Spotify.

Adding on in hopes Spotify sees how **bleep** off some people are getting about this. I don't want to use Google podcasts and prefer Spotify but I am REALLY close to cancelling my paid subscription.

Why not allow us to block specific podcasts they way we can artists? It has to be a monetary thing right? The programming seems like it is already there.

I genuinely do not wish to hear some podcasts after giving them a try. They will autoplay after I listen to new episodes of the ones I do like though, without my adding them to my queue, following the podcast, and even after I mark them as 1 star.

For the life of me, I don't understand how I can't just block content recommendations for which I have no interest. Today I logged in & was greeted by a wall of "Joe Rogan Interviews 'Musicians'." I can't stand Rogan. I'm unhappy Spotify continues to give him a platform. Now I have to see his mug in my gd home screen? I could vaguely understand this if I were, say, a non-paying user...but I've been using Premium for years. wth? If you're not intending to drop him, kindly allow me not to have to sift through his nonsense to get to the things I actually like.

I listened to a podcast a while back, around a year ago, but I still keep getting it on "Your shows" even though I have decided I want to completely detach myself from the podcast due to somethings that the creator has done, and yet I can't do that because it just keeps coming back, and clicking the not interested button doesn't work so don't you dare tell me to use the not interested button because I will f*****g kill you.
