[Android] Bring back swipe down to search / filter

I really like the addition of being able to sort Liked Songs by Artist and Album, thank you for that.

 

However, with that, it's been made unnecessarily more difficult to search for specific songs in Liked Songs by requiring you to push the top right 3 dots and then "Find in Liked Songs".

 

Please bring back being able to simply swipe down, get the search bar, and type in the song details.

We’re excited to let you know that this feature is back! You can access it by simply swiping down on the currently opened playlist - a search bar and a Sort button will appear, allowing you to sort and filter tracks with ease.

 

Once again thanks for making Spotify better!

l aggre. You should at least allow a search when the user to scroll down(up and down) with fingers. Like seeing the options (Wifi, Sound Bluetooth) but on spotify for searching on liked songs, playlists...

Yes, please bring back this feature Spotify!!!! Also please add the same feature to playlists. 

You guys can hide the search bar if you want. Like, when we first open a playlist the search bar won't show but when we swipe down we can see it.

Hope. It has no impact to any design initiative at Spotify. They even use the same design everywhere else were it doesn't count. 
Hope is not dead.

This is very disheartening. I've been waiting for  a year or longer this to be at least returned,or implemented in another way, (as someone with four 1,000+ song playlists, this was a really good feature). We have lost a good chunk of their usability since the change, and I would have expected that with a relatively large and unified community request that it would have been addressed at this point. Sad to see when such a promising company goes public and these usable and segment-differentiating functions die in the basement. Here's to hoping, Spotify. Makes you wonder why they are unwilling to revert the change, maybe a financial/unethical reason?
