Smart shuffle is a fun way to discover new songs, but it comes at a cost. Want to reshuffle your queue? Bam, wait a few seconds longer. Want to unshuffle your playlist? Bam, no longer works, and goes to a completely random place in the playlist.

To me this is an unwanted complication, and I'd much rather be able to choose in the settings menu whether I want to enable the Smart Shuffle feature, or disable it.

Remove smart shuffle.

It is annoying. I don't like it. Remove it. Or at least add an option on settings to disable it for the account.

Add all the unwanted features you want, but please, also add a toggle in settings for us to turn them off (starting with "smart" shuffle).

If you're going to add features like this please give us an option to disable it on an account basis

I hate it I make my playlists very specifically with specific songs. And I do like to shuffle but I have to press it twice and 9 out of 10 times smart shuffle just turns itself on again. Then I'm jumpscared by songs that don't even fit the playlist in the slightest. I get the whole learn new music idea but I prefer the recommendation tab at the bottom or just finding a playlist and finding new music in there. When I want to listen to my music for my peace of mind and safety I am not in the mood to fight with the damn smart shuffle Button until it turns off. Just let me disable it . Or make it a different button, not the same as the shuffle Button.

Yes.  Quit pushing your algorithmic playlists into my playlists... BY DEFAULT!  Surely there must be a commercial reason why this has gone unaddressed for well over a year. The Platform must have its Engagement.  Attention is Possession.

That "feature" makes me so mad. It sucks that they feel the need to add that to the app. For that, I could just make a music Playlist on YouTube. I hope that they fix this.

I had spotify over a year ago. It was way more enjoyable, even with the ads. I had to delete my old account and start a new one. Ima just say, what the heck. I had recently gotten that new account. So, when I saw that they made smart shuffle mandatory for spotfy free, I was dumbfounded.

It is absolutely anti-user experience to force feed features to your paying customers features.
It is really annoying that I have to check everytime when I start a playlist if smart shuffle is enabled or not.

I am disgusted by this behaviour of Spotify managers making these kind of decisions. 

It is not hard when you introduce these kind of features to add a toggle in the settings menu to disable a feature.

This is not the only change you guys keep making, like remnoving the favorite icon.

Now I have no way to track which numbers I mostly like in a playlist or album.

I am inches close to cancelling my subscription.
