[Playlists] Sort by Release Date

It would be nice to be able to sort a playlist by the release date of the songs.

Over a thousand votes on this idea. People have been asking for it for years. Yet Spotify won't implement this very simple feature because...they just don't want to? That's very poor customer service from Spotify.

My Question or Issue

C'mon Spotify. It's nearly 2023. AI can create works of art and we can launch giant cameras into space but we STILL can't sort our library by release date.

SORT IT OUT... please.

For example only listened to your liked songs for all your songs made from 1990-2010. At least just be able to choose the decade.

Sad to see periodic notifications on this topic when Spotify has been sitting on its hands since 2014. That’s nine years and counting. A simple feature request is made, and proves itself to be highly popular. The answer from Spotify is a simple no, with zero explanation given. What does this say about the company and its attitude to customers?
