[Queue] Queue to Next or Last

Present two options on rightclick, Queue Last and Queue Next. Very easy to implement, and useful. 

The way I been using spotty lately is to keep adding to Play Queue, it has gotten really long and sometimes I want to listen to something right now, then I have to add to queue and then move the songs all the way up to the top.

Mediamonkey have had this implemented since long ago. Mediamonkey is btw the best musicorganizer I've ever owned or tried.

Thanks for this submission. We had a slight hiccup with moving ideas to different boards, but it's all good now.

I'm telling you why. Because these moderators are either dumb or don't understand plain English. There's a very clear difference between "Play Next" and "Add to Queue" (which always adds songs to the bottom, not the top). Instead, they are playing stupid with us and acting disrespectfully towards Spotify's Community, making everyone look like idiots for insisting on "features" that do exactly what users are asking for, which obviously is incorrect.

Well, CarlosE should be fired immediately as he doesn't seem to understand what we are talking about, or he doesn't have the ability to comprehend English. Even though other members have explained in simple terms the differences between "Play Next" and "Add to Queue" and provided examples from Apple Music, Tidal, YouTube Music, Deezer, etc., he is still insisting on mocking us with this hilarious reply: "That's exactly what the Add to Queue option does".

Really?

We all want to speak with a manager.

A beginner software developer or maybe some guys from the competition will show them how to implement the famous "Play Next" option.

It's simply ridiculous.

Like the asinine design of the Spotify app's grid view, there is no ux or function to add an album or playlist TO THE END of the current 'playing' playlist.

It is now 2023, and unicorn UX design like that of Spotify's has largely gone the way of the unicorn. Except of course in the case of Spotify.

Mod- are you high? Other platforms like You Tube Music have this "Play next" option in the 3 dot menus or when selecting a track. 

Nobody wants to do all the work you said about resorting the Queue. 

Why Spotify doesn't have this is why I will be cancelling after my trial and going back to YTM, even though you have some other features I think are really cool..

please add a playnext button with adds the song to the top of the queue. it's inconvenient to add a song to the end of the queue and them have to drag it to the top every time you want to play a song right after the currently playing one.

I really enjoy using the app, however the app seemed to lack one extremely important thing, which is a Play Next button for albums and single, so that I can be able to listen to that specific song or album immediately after the current playing song without altering my queue or playlist. The lack of a play next button on Spotify make me resort to other apps.

Great idea.  I know of no other media players or streamers where "queue" means "barge in after the next track". They always add the selection to the end.  It is definitely the most annoying thing about the Spotify experience, particularly as it's not how a queue is supposed to work - and I live in the UK so I should know 🙂 - so I do feel that it is misleading as to what it actually does.
