Can't save playlists after editing

Hey folks,

We're receiving reports from iOS users who are unable to save any changes to the track order in their playlists due to the Save button being grayed out.

Hey folks,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Thanks!

My Question or Issue

On the mobile app when I try to edit a playlist and reorder the songs, I am unable to save the changes. The "save" option is grayed out. I talked to support and they suggested that I try changing the name or description of the playlist and then saving. That did work, but this seems like a bug in the most recent version of the app that needs to be fixed. It's really annoying to have to keep changing the name or description just to reorder the songs.

I have the same problem.
I can save the playlists, but if, for example, I save the playlist on the iPhone or edit it, and then I want to listen to the saved playlists on the Macbook or the iPad, it does not appear, or only hours later!
It's interesting because I also tested this error on my old Samsung phone and it works normally there.
Been doing this for a few days now.

Help!!!
Currently I’m editing one of my playlists. When I click on “save” my changes,it is now greyed out. Never had happened.

This issue began last Sunday.
Immediately contacted Spotify support. Now been almost one week and this has not been resolved.

I use my Apple/Mac devices: iMac OS desktop Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020, iPhone 13 Max Pro, iPadOS Pro (10.5-inch)

My Apple Devices are updated.

I deleted the app twice on all my Apple devices and downloaded it. Still the “save”is in grey.

I changed the title to my playlist. It was saved.

So I went to my playlist and edit. When I clicked on “save” the”save” is greyed out. Not active to complete my editing.

Need your assistance to “save”my changes. As stated never seen the “save” greyed out.

I need to update my playlists.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Community,

I was having this very same problem on my iOS app. I can not save edits to the order of songs on my playlist anymore. A helpful Spotify Support person, did give me a solution, a workaround. here is how you can edit/order of songs and save:

1) pick any of your playlists

2) make a small edit to your "description" or your "title" but don't click "save" yet!

3) Next go to your songs and change order however you would like.

4) Now click SAVE and note it is no longer greyed out.

TRY IT OUT! YOU'RE WELCOME!

Solo me ha funcionado una vez. Al volver a la misma lista para editar, el botón de aceptar está en gris
