Recently played artists section not updating

We've been seeing reports from users that the recently played artists on their profile are not updating, while recently played in listening history is working as expected.

Thanks for responding,**bleep** problem here. Going on the 3rd day. I am NOT having a Private Listening session.

I don't know why the UI bleeped your name. Same problem here, going on 3rd day, NOT having Private Listening.

I think the easiest way to solve this is as follows. Is this 'problem' affecting some people on the app, or all listeners? If it's only some people, it's a bug. If it's all listeners it is either a critical failure like their server farm caught fire or something (and would be in the news) or it's an update. Take a look around and see if you can find a single profile's artists updating. If not, best we call the fire dept.

Yours has updated within the last few hours, correct?

Absolutely! But it is not updating in "real time". I turned spot on at about 8am (GMT +2). I've been playing since then - 6pm here. That's 10 hours straight. It updated *once*.

The last artist I have updated is "elbow" - played two hours ago... I'm still listening. I expect my next update if not later tonight, then when I log in tomorrow, to do it all again...

It’s been 2 days like this for me… really hope they fix it ASAP. I can’t imagine it’s a difficult thing to do, seeming it’s been working until now.

I don't think it's broken. I think this may actually be quite cool. A lot of the time I thought Spot wanted me to listen "less" - I'm like a farm, there is no ways they can be paying artists justly where I consume as much product as I do, for such a reasonable sub... I mean, what they really want is you to sign up and eff off, pardon the french, not listen to 200 000 mins/ annum. Now, with this update, you'll have to increase your consumption to update your artists more regularly. IDK - maybe it is a bug...

I am Premium… from what I can see it’s happening to most if not all (but can’t be 100%). The people I know their lists aren’t updating.

It’s been 3 days and my recently played artists aren’t updating. Even when I click on my friends profile to view their recently played artists it’s stayed the same. I think it might be a glitch, I’ve cleared cache, tried on my desktop and uninstalled the app but still the same
