Connecting Spotify to Facebook - Old account problem

My Question or Issue

Good morning,
I just bought Spotify premium and want to follow my friends. For that I have to link Spotify to Facebook. But the connection isn't working. I then went into the facebook settings as shown in the help page. And on the app management page, I am told that Spotify has been removed and Facebook apps and that a new account cannot be linked.
It is true that several years ago I had a Spotify (non premium) account that I finally decided to delete.
How can I link these two accounts? Is there a solution?
