Firestick Overheats only with Spotify

My Question or Issue

Since an update in June/July 2019 (almost a year ago) mine and a friends Firestick crash. Only when using Spotify.

I have Ps4, iphone, ipad and Android. No issues!

However when using with the Firestick it overheats then leads to a crash.

I would by pass the Firestick (since Spotify refuses to fix this issue) however the Firestick is connected to our main TV with nice stereo system.

I just cant believe after at least one update I noticed and it almost being a year long problem this has not been resolved! Insane!
