Google Home silent when playing Spotify

Hi

I have 1 Google Home Mini that I’ve linked to Spotify. Installation and configuration went great, but it plays Spotify without any sound. For example:

ME: Hey Google, play Discover weekly
HOME: OK, playing your playlist Discover weekly on Spotify
HOME: SILENCE

The song is running in the spotify and google home app but there’s no sound from the speaker. It also has a bas habit of skipping 3 songs before it starts playing.

I have tried resetting and relinking everything but still doesnt work.

Google Play Music works fine though.

I’m using an iPhone 8 with the latest iOS version and Google Home app.

This is really a deal breaker for me and if it doesnt get solved soon I will switch to Google Music.

Right there with you.  Incredibly frustrating.  Podcast addict streams no issues.  Spotify just keeps skipping songs with no audio.

Also it appears that Spotify and Google home are showing different songs playing at the same time.  How theirs a solution soon.

FIXED

I contacted the support and they resetted my account from their side. Now it works just fine. Kudos to the great support!
