Hi there!

 

To clarify, the two members of a Duo plan can listen to their own music in their own devices at the same time, as they'd be using their own separate accounts.

 

Keep in mind that Premium Duo is a subscription for two people who live together at the same address, each person with their own personal account (not a shared account).

 

If the streaming from one account is interrupted when the other person starts listening to music, it means that they're both logged in to the same account. In this case, I suggest following the steps under Log out everywhere in this article. Then, log back in making sure you're using your own account's credentials.

how does my partner log in to my duo account?

Hey @pquentinf,

 

Actually your partner is going to log in his/her account not yours. Both accounts belong to the Duo plan, but they are completely independent. You can check all the information by clicking on the link bellow:

 

https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

 

Your partner just have to type the email address and password on the Spotify login page.

when I use the link inviting my partner I cannot see how to add a new account on my duo plan

Soy administradora de la cuenta y cuando me conecto y la 2a cuenta está usando la app, la playlist que escucha el usuario 2 abre en mis audífonos o en mi dispositivo. Y algunas veces es viceversa. ¿Cómo puedo arreglo?
