Was streaming to my Google Nest device and notice that there is no Crossfade available.

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be happy to provide some clarification. As you can see in this article, crossfade cannot be used when playing via Spotify Connect, so what you're seeing appears to be expected behaviour.
