Play Fi Spotify Connect Does Not See Dish Hopper

The Play Fi app shows a Definitive soundbar and two Dish TV Hoppers.  But when I go to Spotify Connect via Play FI, the only speaker that appears is the Definitive soundbar.  If I go to Amazon or Pandora via the Play Fi app, I am able to see and use the Dish Hopper speakers.

I am having the same problem with the Dish Music app for IOS. My  Dish Hopper 3 does not show up in the Spotify IOS and desktop apps as a connected device per the Music app instructions.  All devices are on the same WiFi network and other music services that are supported by the Music app are working.  I note that the Hooper 3 is not listed as a supported device by Spotify despite Dish saying it is.  Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?
