Play music from watch speakers without phone

Currently, you can't play music directly from the watch speakers without opening Spotify und your phone and switching the playback device to the watch. When you try to do that on the watch, it tells you to connect to a Bluetooth device.

My suggestion is that the watch app wouldn't ask you to pick a Bluetooth device and start playing the music straight from it's speakers.

It should be possible to use the watch as a standalone device and play from its speakers. This depends on the watch most probably. What are the make, model and operating system of yours?

Hey there, I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch5. You can add audio files onto it and listen like that. Also, it has WearOS.
