Player embed background color not matching cover image

My playlist background color matches my cover image within Spotify (pink), but it is not showing up in the color selector for the embed... only grey or black. How can I fix this?

Thanks for bringing this up with us.

We can't see the playlist ID in your message to be sure that we tested the right playlist on our side, but by searching by the name that is visible on the screenshots you attached we found this playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4b54jiCtUumzuoc1xYPEsb. Could you please confirm that this is the right one, that you are facing the issue with?
By testing the embed generator with https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4b54jiCtUumzuoc1xYPEsb we were not able to reproduce the bug (see attached screenshot). Embed generator provides two colours pink and black as expected. Could please confirm that the bug still exists on your side?
