Hey together!

This is yet another topic concering the Spotify app on the Samsung watches. Since there is not much new information I wanted to bring some attention to this problem again.

Since I got my Gear S3 in August 2017 there was a problem with Spotify during workouts in Offline mode and without a phone. Music is running and whenever there is an anouncement from a fitness app (Samsung Health/Endomondo/...) there is a high chance that Spotify gets completely muted and there is no way to turn the volume up again.

You can see that Spotify is still running and changing tracks, but you can't hear anything. Closing apps, disconnecting headphones and playing music using the Samsung MP3-player doesn't help either. 

The only way to use Spotify again is rebooting the watch, which is not practical during a workout. This is by far my biggest gripe with the app and there's A LOT of other problems. I would also wish for more regular updates and newer features like podcasts. As far as I know the Spotify app on Gear was updated back in December 2017.. thats just not fast enough with so many problems to fix.

I have just the same issue. It is very upseting to be running and, suddenly, stop listening to the music from Spotify while the app pretends to be playing but no there is no sound from it. 
How can we solve this problem?
