My Question or Issue

I start a song on my phone, then select to play with spotify connect on my Onkyo receiver. The song starts properly on the Onkyo but the phone continues to play the song. If I stop the song on the phone, it continues playing on the Onkyo but is out of sync with the app on the phone. It doesn't always happen but it does very often recently. Same problem if I replace phone with pc app. Music starts on Onkyo but pc app continues to do its own thing.

Hey, thank you for asking in the community!

 

I see you are having issues with Spotify Connect. There is a small fix you could try:

  1. Go to Spotify.com, log into your account
  2. Scroll down in your account settings and click on Sign Out Everywhere
  3. Remember this will log you out everywhere and might remove offline content
  4. Log in again and check if the Spotify Connect feature is working out for you now
