Whenever i plug in earphones Spotify starts playing and glitching

Hi Spotify, whenever i plug in earphones to my phone my Spotify app starts randomly playing music. This happens even when the app is closed. Another issue i have is that each song crashes, glitches, paused and skips a ton. This makes it impossible for me to listen to music and i don't understand why i happens. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it as-well as powered off my phone and logged in and out of spoitfy however this problem still happens. The strange thing is that this doesnt happen when im not wearing my earphones. Is this all happening due to my earphones?
