Why does my spotify playlist song order change everytime I connect to my ca

I have a 5 hour playlist, and I like to listen to the whole playlist over the week in my car. In the past few weeks everytime my phone connects to my car, it resets my playlist order. It is on shuffle but it means a song I might have heard on Monday already comes up again on Tuesday when I'm trying to space it out. Any ways to fix this would be great

It'd be great if you could send over some more details so we can get a better understanding of the situation, such as if this happens only when you connect your device to the car. How do you connect the device to the car and what device are you using (make, model, OS-version)? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far and did any of them make a difference?

Additionally, let us know if it happens with playlists created by you, by Spotify or both. 

If you haven't already, we recommend turning off Shuffle and setting the playlist in custom order to avoid any tracks being played twice.
