Can't switch from Duo to Family

Can't switch from Duo to Family

My brother and I started the Premium Duo plan somewhere around May 2022. I was moderator of that premium plan. Recently, we switched to the Premium Family plan since our parents also want to enjoy the Spotify Premium benefits. I am not the one who started that premium plan, I am not the moderator. My brother switched very easy from Duo to Family via the invitation link. But I got an error message when I confirmed my location, saying I have to try again later.

What am I doing wrong? My first premium plan was Student, then we had Duo and now Family, which I am not the moderator from and can not join yet still live at the same address. I am using my account often on my mobile device and laptop. I already unsubscribed of my Premium Duo plan.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

If you were the manager of the Premium Duo plan, you'll need to cancel your subscription and wait for your account to revert to free in order to be able to join the new Premium Family subscription.
