My Question or Issue

I bought premium student last year and I understand that it’s for a year until you have to renew however I never received an email and was charged for individual. I am still a student so it would’ve been nice to at least receive an email without being charged more than usually.

Hi @Koimaddy! Sorry to hear that.

 

You should have received an email with instructions on how to renew and re-verify your eligibility with SheerID about 4 weeks before expiration. If you can't find it in your inbox:

  • check your spam/junk folder, or any other filtered folders you use
  • run a search for any emails from no-reply@spotify.com
  • perhaps your email's settings are blocking the Spotify domain, so make sure that no-reply@spotify.com is whitelisted in the safe senders and domains list

In any case, you can follow the steps in this article to renew the student discount and change the plan back to Premium Student.
