HOW SOME RECORDS ORGANIZE THEIR RELEASES

The main cause of an independent artist not reaching the desired point of their releases is the lack of planning, great artists understood the importance of planning each action that will be performed, and each of them goes through the ILP (INTEGRATED LAUNCH PLANNING). A group of Agile and Visual Management tools is used to help with ideas, where the artist, record label or supporters discuss actions and define the goals that need to be achieved at each stage of the launch.

Here's how to do it: On a cardboard you will make 3 columns, in the 1st column you will write (Goals) in the 2nd column (Reasons that may prevent the achievement) and in the 3rd column write (Actions I need to do to fulfill them ). Here at the company we use Post-its, cut the Matrix into horizontal gaps, each gap represents the goal of an action.

As you can see, it is extremely simple, but it provides a guideline to avoid procrastination in the tasks we least like to do, and these are precisely what prevent us from achieving our goals.

Remember, every project needs set goals, otherwise it's just random actions.
