Hi, 

Am I right in thinking you cannot download Spotify music to mp3?

My son wants a device to play music, but he's 6, I don't want to buy him a phone, I thought something like an mp3 would be ideal but is it right that if you download from Spotify , of you end the subscription you lose your downloads?

I haven't seen MP3 player in shelves even at most stuffed store, seriously.

If you can find one, there's surely a problem. Spotify is not going to work here. Instead I recommend getting cheap 99 euro/dollar phone for easy usage of Spotify in Offline. If it gets on the floor and breaks, new one is 99 as well.

I don't honestly think at that age one should have a phone or Spotify, even Spotify claims account holder should be at least maybe 12 year old. Perhaps just basic walkman would do.
