Duo Mix not as useful

Howdy,

I'm subscribed to the duo-plan, and was hoping to enjoy the duo-mix option, but after some weeks it seems there are major issues with it:

1. The songs rarely get updated, and other than a few songs that change each week most of the playlist stays the same, no matter what we listen to in that week.

2. The playlist contains many many songs that we don't even listen to regularly, and most songs there are there solely because they are on our liked songs list. The music we actually listen to rarely gets included in the playlist.

3. The CHILL and UPBEAT features on mobile include almost exclusively songs that are not on either of our playlists.

All of this just makes this feature not as appealing as we thought it would be.

Is there anything we can do to improve our experience?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

There is no way to manually influence the recommendations you get in your Duo Mix.

What you can try is to both leave and rejoin the Mix. Note that in order to increase the pool of songs that can appear in the mix you need to listen to music via the search option. If you listen to songs via any of the other recommendation Mixes like Daily Mix, Discover weekly etc. you won't get many new tracks.

Another thing you can try is if you have a playlist with songs that both you and your partner like, start a Playlist Radio, this way you'll get more songs from the artists you love and you might also discover new ones.
