Free premium trial not working

Hi,

I started a Spotify premium student subscription yesterday and received an email that my payment was completed. I would get a free month and after that I would be charged for the student subscription. It has been more than 24 hours however and I still can't use premium however, neither on app or on desktop. My account details page also still says that I have a free plan, even though I paid and got a confirmation email for premium. 

If I want to switch to premium again, my free month is gone, which is kind of a shame. How can I fix this?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

 

Can you check if you have received a confirmation email from SheerID (no-reply-spotify@sheerid.com) stating that you have been verified? You need to open this email and click on the green button (it usually says Get student discount or Complete purchase) to complete the registration.
