Join spotify in Angola as a foreigner

Hello,

I am a Portuguese citizen living in Angola for work.

I want to get spotify premium, but my account is Angola based due to my IP.

Although I have tried to pay for a subscription with my (portuguese) credit card , it gives me an error: card country and account country don't match.

As I understand, I need to have an Angolan credit card. The problem is that these cards are not issued to foreign citizens.

What other solution do I have? There are no gift cards that Ic an buy in the local market here? Any way I can pay with my portuguese credit card normally?

Spotify gift cards aren't available in Angola yet. However, you can try to use a PayPal account to pay for your Premium, as a workaround, so you won't need to get an Angolan credit card. On PayPal, you'll be able to pay using your Portuguese credit card, but first you need to link it to your PayPal account. For more information about it, check out this article:
