August 2016 Ideas Review

Every month the Community Team reviews our Ideas Board and present the ones we’ve updated in the past 31 days.

We're here to take a look at the ideas we updated for you all in August. Curious what we implemented last year? Well check out our Yearly Ideas Review: 2015 here. 

IMPLEMENTED:

1. Manage third party access permissions.

We’re happy to announce that you can now manage access to another app or integration with Spotify. Simply head to your account page and select Apps. You can click revoke access on things like partner apps. Thats it!

GOOD IDEA:

2. Filter option on Album/ Artist Pages

3. Play song from Search.

4. See what I listened to Days, Months, Years ago.

5. Make Collaborative Playlists Publicly Viewable but Privately Editable. 

6. [Android] Rearrange tracks within a playlist.

UNDER CONSIDERATION:

7. A toolbar for the task bar in the Windows app.

 

 

 

 

 

NOT RIGHT NOW:

8. Voluntarily pay more to support artists. 

9. Remove "Remastered" tags.

10. Less "Suggested Songs" in Playlists for Free Users.

11. Queue to next or last.

Update: We're aware that currently the latest Staff comment is no longer floated underneath statuses in the Ideas Exchange. We are aware of this issue and we are looking into further solutions for you all. Keeping you all up-to-date on these ideas is crucial for us and we're working to improve this experience.
