Who are you?

I'm robzim737, the most recent addition to the Spotify super-user group known as the "Rock Stars Program"- and at 42, I'm probably both the oldest and newest "Rock Star" in thr group.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

Robzim737 is my heretofore anonymous Facebook account I use only for logins to other sites. I won't go into the story behind the name (though there is one), but you can call me Denis, or Rob. I'm a computer programmer working in the Boston area, and an all-around tech nerd. What else: I've met all (living) members of AC/DC. Would love to see them on Spotify someday!

Favourite cartoon from your childhood and why?!

Scooby Doo, I guess. There are "warm fuzzies" upon hearing the "...and I would've gotten away with it, if it hadn't been for you meddling kids" speech at the end of every episode. Oh, and Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Music is everything. Which album changed your life?

Pink Floyd's "The Wall". It certainly had an influence on me while growing up (and still does to a degree). And a couple of runners-up: Tom Waits's "Nighthawks at the Diner" and Herbie Hancock's "Head Hunters".

What are you most proud of?

I have no good answer to this, as the personal accomplishments I'm most proud of are personal. But I can say I try to live by the simple rule of treating others with kindness and respect. R-E-S-P-E-C-T, as Aretha sings, and as Ali G was fond of saying.

Let's imagine you won a Golden Ticket after discovering it hidden inside a chocolate bar. You're in Willy Wonka's factory and you're about to have an unfortunate food-related accident (à la the other child characters in Roald Dahl's book, bar Charlie of course). Describe what happens to you, and what causes it.

I've read the book, he's really as master of smooth and fluid writing, isn't he! But I'm not into sweets, I'm almost repulsed by candy, etc., believe it or not. My "Wonka" fantasy accident would have me being tossed out of the candy factory and into their meat or cheese affiliate right next door.

What would your theme song be if you were starring alongside Bruce Willis in an 80s action movie?

So I'll pick a song from the lmid to late 80's: Metallica – Battery. Then Bruce and I would really kick some ass. How could anyone not kick ass to "Battery"?

Finally, tell us your best joke?

Well this is technically-speaking a "meta-joke", but here it goes: A blonde, a brunette, and a readhead walk into a bar. The bartender sees them and asks "What, is this some kinda joke?".
