Hello I have a problem. I can't download songs to my device and it says: The limit of the number of devices has been reached. I drowned my old phone so I don't know how to log out on it or anything....

had to change to a new smart phone. Spotify login ok, but when I try to download my old lists, I keep getting the message "too many devices active" although I completely deleted the previous device. I tried to reload, delete, login again, ... nothing works! PLS HELP

Thanks for posting in the Community!
In this case, log into one of the old devices where you're no longer using Spotify, tap on your profile picture > Settings and privacy > go to Storage > select Remove all downloads.

That being said, keep in mind, you can download as many as 10,000 songs on each of up to 5 different devices. You can read how this works here.
You can remove your downloads by starting Spotify on the device which no longer needs the downloaded content and using the Remove all downloads button by going to Settings> Storage. If perhaps you use a computer device, you can remove downloads there manually, by locating the downloaded content.
@anibal22, remember a device can stay offline for a maximum of 30 days, then all offline content will be disabled and the license will be revoked. Once a license has been revoked, you can download offline music on a new device.

You can log out from all the devices where you are logged in from your account page. Please head over to Spotify.com and log into your account. Then you can proceed to your account overview.
Scroll down, and you can find the sign-out everywhere option under Security and privacy. Once done, you can check if you are able to download content to your main device or not.

My Question or Issue
I wanted to download playlists of songs to my Iphone for offline listening before a flight but received a message that the number of maximum devices has been reached, and was not allowed to proceed. About a month ago my phone got destroyed and Apple had to replace it. This was highly frustrating as I was about to go on a 4 hour plane ride with no music to listen to. I searched around on the various settings and account parts of the app but could not find anywhere to manage or view the offline devices. Where do I go to do this?

Hola,disculpen estoy teniendo un problema con la aplicación ya que es una cuenta familiar,pero en mi cuenta no me deja descargar las músicas de mi playlist,me dice que ya no tengo espacio y todo eso o que desactive el modo oficina y ya hice todos esos pasos y sigue el problema,ya desinstale la aplicación,cerré sección de la cuenta y persiste borre cache de la aplicación y no se soluciona ya hice un sin fin de cosas hasta eso reinicie mi cel ya sea reinicio normal y de fabrica y hasta cambie contraseña y cerré sección en los otros dispositivos que tenían mi cuenta
