Cannot sync playlists to iphone with Premium acct

Cannot sync playlists to iphone with Premium acct

I signed up for a trial Premium account and downloaded two playlists that I am unable to sync to my iphone. What am I missing? I have wasted hours trying to make this work to no avail.

1) By default, the mobile app will have syncing over 3g turned off in favour of wi-fi. If you are not syncing over wi-fi, check that.

2) Make sure the phone is plugged in to a power source. It will cease syncing as soon as the screen light goes out when it is on battery.
