Crossfade for Apple Watch

Hello - A great feature on Spotify is Crossfade, so songs overlap at the end/beginning, and you don't have a silence gap between tracks. This is especially useful when working out. I know this issue has been brought up before and it did not receive enough "likes" to be addressed so I'm reposting.

For some reason, this feature does not work when playing Spotify thru an Apple Watch (series 8, software 9.1 ) so there is a gap of silence between tracks. This is disappointing as using the Apple Watch to play Spotify without needing your phone at the gym is a huge plus.

Can you please add Crossfade functionality for playing Spotify on the Apple Watch?
