Manually select songs to sync locally

Hello,

I'm trying to sync my local files to spotify and I have a few questions about the process. 

First, let me tell you about my problem, I went to sync my files locally but my device cannot hold all of my music (i'm on a 32GB iPhone 5 and I have approx 39GB of music or 4600 songs.) 

What I could like to do is manually pick which songs are sync'd to my iphone but I'm unable to figure this out. I like the layout of the Library section on the Windows program installed but i'm having trouble figuring out how to sync 1 song at a time. 

I don't want to sync every file in my library, only a select few (by few I mean about 800-1200)

Any suggestions on how to do this? 

Also, on the iOS app is there a way to view my sync'd media by Artist --> Album --> Tracks?
