Never had any issues before but I today created a new playlist on my Mac however it seems to not want to sync to my iPhone with a playlist called 'Loading' appearing. Any help greatly appreciated. Have reinstalled Spotify app on iPhone and cleared cache on Mac.

@Meredith, Hi, thanks for giving this your attention. However, I still have the problem. Hope you can help. Thanks
Hi kemikkel - Thanks for getting back to us. We're currently looking into this for you all.
In the meantime, the more info we can gather the better.

Sharing those answers on this thread would be a great help. As soon as there's an update I'll be posting here.
Thanks, but mine is all good now since you last fixed it and I did a hard restore to get my playlists to play.
All good now. No need to adjust mine!
@Meredith
It seems my more recent playlists are being stored in the cloud instead of locally. This is highlighted by the fact that they NEVER appear if I am in offline mode. A full problem description is available in my previous post. There are also screen-grabs there for you. The following info might be useful for you. Please note that the problem exists only on the mobile app and NOT on the desktop.
Mobile Hardware: iPhone 3GS
My device is NOT jailbroken
iOS: 5.0 (9A334)
Mobile Spotify Version: 0.5.4.13
Username: kemikkel
Provider: Virgin U.K. (via T-Mobile and Orange)
Desktop Hardware: Macbook Pro 13 (Late 2011)
Mac OS: OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 (12A269)
Desktop Spotify Version: 0.8.4.107
I have not deleted and reinstalled the app. That is an unacceptable propostiion for me since I have about 10 GB of offline synced media. I await your feedback. Thanks
I have the problem now as well. I have an iphone 4 and all my playlists are showing Loading ... and I delete the app and re-install and it makes no difference. I leave the app on for a while and it doesnt seem to be loading anything as nothing updates. None of my playlists show up but the folder names do includung new folder names. Very frustrating. I use a win7 pc to sunc with but also use a mac pro with the account at work. What is the issue, cant use spotify on the go now for past few weeks!!
David
I was wondering if the number of playlists might be an issue. I am sure it makes it slower so I shoudl clean that up, especially for mobile, but not sure that is entirely the issue so I would say please go ahead and give that a try on your end. Thanks a lot.
David
I wasn wondering if the number of playlists are an issue. I figured I shoudl cut down on the playlists, mostly for mobile purposes as on the pc/mac it doesnt seem to matter. I can do some more of that but I dont think thats entirely the issue. I have no problem resyncing any offline playlists as I dont have much of that, so please go ahead and see what fix you can try on your end. I appreciate it. Thanks
David
Please try to fix my account if you can as I still get the playlist loading messages on the iphone and it just sits there.
Thanks

I've tried a manual fix on your account to flush out and corruption with the playlists (can happen when there's a lot of them).
Any better?
I have the same problem, could my account be looked at too please?
TIA,
PK.

Yep, I've just done the same on your account. Let me know how that works for you.
Hello?
Is anyone dealing with this for me?! or am I just being ignored? Things are getting worse. After they have finally loaded, the playlists that i have added and made available offline within the last two months are now sporadically being un-synced. I am repeatedly having to resync. This is so frustrating.
I have had this problem for over two months now. What kind of customer service is this? When a paying customer has a problem with your product then you ought to deal with the problem properly. Disucssing the issue on a community forum is not a sufficient way to deal with this kind of problem.
(1) I'm not receiving the service and functionality that you agreed to provide and which I have paid for.
(2) The mobile app on iOS (your product) is significantly disfuntional to the point where it might be considered unfit for purpose.
For the above listed reasons, It's now my opinion that you are in breach of the established law governing the sale of goods and services in the U.K (Act of 1982). I want to make a formal complaint. This is a basic consumer right, at least in this country.
Please advise of your complaints procedure. I urgently await your feedback.

Hi - thanks. It seems to at least be loading some of the playlists but many are still in "loading..." status and this is after over an hour. The playlists I subscribe to (rather than created) many of these do not seem to be loading. Not sure why some playlists load and others not and I dont remember it taking so long in the past to load playlists on my iphone. I have been deleting some playlists and still have a lot but doesnt seem to be helping any. Wish there was a way to designate some playlists for loading on mobile and differentiate with those on the desktop app. Again there does seem to have been a change in the way it is loading playlists on the iphone 4 and its just not working well.
Hi, I'm having the same problem — one of my ten or so playlists is refusing to finish syncing, mainly with the local files. It is a perpetual 940 out of 953 tracks synced, even when connected to my computer's spotify. The sync is always "pending." Can you fix this?
Same issue with me. This new update is being such a crap lately. Can't load my playlists, it's not scrobbling to last.fm, just terrible! It NEEDS a new update as soon as possible.
I'm having almost exaclty the same issues as Kemikkel - playlists from the lasdt 6 weeks or so just not loading - or taking a long time to load. I've also have some local files i had synced disappear. Overall really frustrating since the app and service is usually so great.
@syelon How many playlists do you have? I have 266. Just wondering if this might be causing our problems. Let tme know. Also, have you installed spotify on a macbook pro within the last two months? Thanks
I have 146 - but i will try deleting half of them as they were ones i imported from iTunes. I have no installed Spotify on a MacBook - but i have on an iMac, but i think it was more than 2 motnhs ago... not sure. 🙂
