Poor playback performance on T-Mobile LTE

Poor playback performance on T-Mobile LTE

Recently Spotify has been performing... poorly on my iPhone 5s and iPad mini 2 (both running up to date software.) At all quality levels songs will cut out, skip around, or jump to the next track. Even when I save songs, the tracks downloaded will act the same! This behavior is restricted to cellular data (T-Mobile LTE); Wi-Fi seems to be fine. I get great signal strength on my devices, and other streaming apps perform great. I've reinstalled the Spotify app to no avail: the experience remains the same.

 

I'm thoroughly confused by all this. Particularly, how the app can download tracks with errors, instead of just downloading them slower. Any help is much appreciated.
