Increased subscription cost

I am a student and I have had spotify for over a year now, as a student I was paying less than the set amount for premium but now my next direct debit has come out to pay for the subscription it has now increased to the actual amount for premium. I am still a student so I dont know why this has changed.

Can anyone help?

What does your account say about your subscription? 

Take a look at your 'invoices', does it have a reason there?

Spotify student discount is only valid for 12 months as far as I am aware. Have you had 12 discounted payments?
